There’s plenty of beaches to choose from if you fancy splashing about in the sea or soaking up the sun. The Victorian resort of Cromer has much to offer with its pier (no holiday is complete without a session fishing for crabs from its walkways), sea front cafes and lifeboat museum. The pretty village of Mundesley with its fine beach where you can hire beach huts is only a short drive away while slightly further afield is Sea Palling where the huge expanse of sand gives plenty of room for both bathers and jet ski enthusiasts. About 45 minutes away by car is the magnificent Holkham Beach, often voted as the best beach in the country with its three-mile expanse of sand backed by creeks and woodland.
