Case study: It is always a pleasure to work on eCommerce websites selling products that are really exciting and unique. Karen MacIver is one of the world’s top ballet class music composers. She has worked with dance companies all over the globe and accompanied countless classes. Her previous website was fairly well constructed, but a bit dull. It was also not built on an eCommerce platform. Karen was keen to start offering her music via direct download, so Magento with its built-in support for downloadable products suited her website perfectly. We developed the piano theme from her previous website and completely re-designed it with more graphic elements and an elegant but eye-catching colour scheme. A “Latest Release” banner with music player was added to the header and we also implemented a sample player on each product page, allowing users to listen to short samples of each track. All players also appear on the product comparison page, making it possible for customers to listen to all samples from a single page before purchasing their favourite tracks.

Case study: GeoWear are a company based in the Scottish Highlands and dedicated to providing specialist clothing and accessories for home gardeners and landscape professionals. They came to us with some basic design concepts already in place, but unsure as to how to implement them. After an initial consultation, Magento was selected as the ideal ecommerce platform for delivering the required functionality. Because of the large catalogue of products on offer, it was essential to provide users with advanced search options, including the ability to narrow down searches based on brand, garment type, gender and other specific attributes. A product image zoom-in function and front page image slider was also required, as well as a blog and newsletter template. Each category within the store was to feature an individual header image to help it stand out: professional photoshoots were carried out in order to provide high quality images, which were then carefully integrated into a bespokely designed Magento template. The resulting visual impact is elegant and enticing, making for a highly satisfying browsing experience.

Case study: A local East Dunbartonshire business needed an integrated website and blog to advertise their trail running coaching services and events. WordPress was chosen as the perfect platform to provide an easy to update CMS. We created a fresh, uncluttered template based on the concept of a runner being shadowed by a coach. A logo was also bespokely designed and a contact form and photo gallery added.

Case study: The web presence for this Glasgow security firm was built from scratch. They had an existing logo and specific brand colours which formed the starting point for a completely bespoke design. Once approved, the design was applied to WordPress, allowing the client to take complete control of the website.

Case study: This is an e-commerce website with a difference: amongst various physical and virtual products, Dance Online sell downloadable dance classes. Their requirement was for an integrated e-store and community portal, packed with information, forums and fun activities. Above all, it had to be highly scalable.

What we did: We built this e-commerce store on Magento and integrated various extensions to allow the creation and easy maintenance of forums and information pages. We also designed the logo and banners.

Case study: Dining Chair Direct sells premium quality faux leather chairs and headboards at affordable prices.
We built an eCommerce site that not only displays their current range of furniture, but also allows for easy updating and catalogue expansion.
The project started with logo and brand development. As well as the design and layout of the pages, we created a series of banners for sale items and special offers. We optimised the code and content for search engines and configured a Pay-Per-Click campaign.
