We built an eCommerce site that not only displays their current range of furniture, but also allows for easy updating and catalogue expansion.
The project started with logo and brand development. As well as the design and layout of the pages, we created a series of banners for sale items and special offers. We optimised the code and content for search engines and configured a Pay-Per-Click campaign.


What we did: Installed and configured eCommerce system, designed logo, template and banners, performed SEO and SEM.

TOQUE TAMBOR
www.toquetambor.com		 Case study: Hitchin samba band Toque Tambor’s previous website was a mess and needed a complete re-design.
The interesting thing about this project was that the band already had a very strong image. We were able to take their existing assets (logo, symbols, fabrics, instruments, extensive photographic records) and use them as a starting point for the design.

What we did: Re-designed Flash intro; designed and built HTML/CSS pages and Flash animations; integrated Javascript elements, event calendar, photo gallery, music player, mailing list, forum and password-protected members area featuring complete database-driven content management.

www.highimpacthabits.com		 Case study: Anne Duncan is an established practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming and Time Empowerment. She had previously designed her own website, then started a Typepad blog which quickly became very active. Having decided she wanted a blog on her own domain, as well as a fresh look for her website, Anne approached us and we suggested a Wordpress based website would be the best option.
We started from a basic template which was completely transformed and adapted to her needs. At Anne’s request, We stuck to a "clean and uncluttered" design. We went for a fairly neutral colour scheme which allows the logo to make the "high impact" suggested by its text. We then used the logo’s shade of orange in other key places, to give the pages a dash of colour.

What we did: Installed Wordpress blog system, designed new look and customised existing Wordpress template to match required look. Configured the various pages and sections, optimised code, migrated content from previous blog.

LENZIE PARENT & TODDLER GROUP
www.lenzietoddlers.co.uk		 Case study: This was a really fun pro bono project aimed at raising the profile of a toddler playgroup based in Lenzie, East Dunbartonshire. The group is run by volunteers and until we stepped in there was no mention of it on the web apart from an online directory where it was listed as "believed to be folded" which it certainly wasn't.
As well as general information pages about the group, its schedule and location, we wanted to include tools that would allow the members to communicate easily.
We created a forum and a news page with support for member login, avatar creation, posting and editing on-the-fly. 

What we did: Installed Wordpress blog system, created a completely bespoke template and configured forum and gallery plugins.
THE SNUG
The Snug		 Case study: Phil and Yvonne had decided to let part of their Norfolk home to the holiday market, and they needed a simple design showing off the property’s extensive features and the beauty of its surroundings.
Using The Snug’s many photos as inspiration, we designed an eye-catching but uncomplicated layout and allowed the images to speak for themselves.

What we did: Designed logo; designed and built HTML/CSS pages and Flash backround sound (yes, the singing birds); integrated Flash photo gallery, availability calendar, enquiry form and Googlemap.

For personal reasons, Phil and Yvonne have now decided to stop renting out The Snug, so they have asked us to close down the website. They have kindly agreed to let us keep a dummy version on our own domain for demonstration purposes.
