DANCE ONLINE
www.danceonline.co.uk
Case study: This is an e-commerce website with a difference: amongst various physical and virtual products, Dance Online sell downloadable dance classes. Their requirement was for an integrated e-store and community portal, packed with information, forums and fun activities. Above all, it had to be highly scalable.

What we did: We built this e-commerce store on Magento and integrated various extensions to allow the creation and easy maintenance of forums and information pages. We also designed the logo and banners.

We built an eCommerce site that not only displays their current range of furniture, but also allows for easy updating and catalogue expansion.
The project started with logo and brand development. As well as the design and layout of the pages, we created a series of banners for sale items and special offers. We optimised the code and content for search engines and configured a Pay-Per-Click campaign.

What we did: Installed and configured eCommerce system, designed logo, template and banners, performed SEO and SEM.

Will definitely recommend to any business looking to revamp or create a brand new website. It has been a stress free process with so much help. They were very good at explaining the technical terms and jargon as I was very new to the website building process. I got exactly what I required and much more!! Also communication was great throughout the process, always keeping me up to date. I must say I was a little bit nervous about using an online based company but Web Right Now were more than helpful and willing to experiment with different designs until I was happy. What can I say, excellent service and value for money!

THE SNUG
The Snug

Case study: Phil and Yvonne had decided to let part of their Norfolk home to the holiday market, and they needed a simple design showing off the property’s extensive features and the beauty of its surroundings.
Using The Snug’s many photos as inspiration, we designed an eye-catching but uncomplicated layout and allowed the images to speak for themselves.

What we did: Designed logo; designed and built HTML/CSS pages and Flash backround sound (yes, the singing birds); integrated Flash photo gallery, availability calendar, enquiry form and Googlemap.

For personal reasons, Phil and Yvonne have now decided to stop renting out The Snug, so they have asked us to close down the website. They have kindly agreed to let us keep a dummy version on our own domain for demonstration purposes.

Testimonial

The website WebRightNow have designed for The Snug is exactly what we wanted. They took our original brief and worked closely with us, making excellent suggestions for improving the design and content. The website is beautifully laid out, is easy to access and read, and gives potential holiday makers all the information they need to learn what is available and how to make a booking. It has been praised by people who have viewed it and has achieved the aim we had for it – as I write this I am waiting for new guests to arrive!

LENZIE PARENT & TODDLER GROUP
www.lenzietoddlers.co.uk

Case study: This was a really fun pro bono project aimed at raising the profile of a toddler playgroup based in Lenzie, East Dunbartonshire. The group is run by volunteers and until we stepped in there was no mention of it on the web apart from an online directory where it was listed as “believed to be folded” which it certainly wasn’t.
As well as general information pages about the group, its schedule and location, we wanted to include tools that would allow the members to communicate easily.
We created a forum and a news page with support for member login, avatar creation, posting and editing on-the-fly.

What we did: Installed WordPress blog system, created a completely bespoke template and configured forum and gallery plugins.

DAVE AND LIZ’S WEDDING
www.daveandlizwedding.co.uk

Case study: Wedding websites are fast becoming one of the essential parts of planning a wedding: it’s quite simply the easiest way to provide easy, permanent information about venue, date, times, accommodation, gift list details etc.
It is also the ideal place for displaying those photos that friends and relatives are going to want to see.
Dave and Liz’s website went live a few weeks before the event, and was then updated after the cerimony to include a photo gallery and guestbook.

What we did: Designed and built HTML pages, integrated Flash gallery, Javascript elements and guestbook.

KONTROLL ACUSTICAL ITALIANA
www.kontrollacusticalitaliana.it

Case study: This Italian hearing aid business had been trading successfully for 40 years but didn’t yet have a web presence, which was threatening its position in an increasingly competitive market.
The owner had little knowledge of the Internet but a surprisingly clear idea of the look he wanted to achieve: a simple yet animated site, with a visual representation of soundwaves.
Given the target audience, it was also crucial to meet all accessibility guidelines.
We combined XHTML and Flash animation to achieve the desired result.

What we did: Designed and built XHTML/CSS pages, Flash intro and animations.
